I’m not sure where or how I stumbled upon my first chocolate chip cookie recipe. I don’t come from a family of bakers; my mom would tell you that her cookies could be better used as hockey pucks. So, imagine the surprise when, as a kid, I independently began concocting different chocolate chip cookie recipes and…they were shockingly good!
Over time, I found just the right combination of ingredients to craft a soft, delicious cookie. I started bringing my cookies to family gatherings and other events, which turned into gifting them for holidays and birthdays and taking orders and requests from others.
As the demand for my cookies grew, so did opportunities for connection. As an adult, I returned to baking and delivering cookies during the pandemic to bring joy and to keep a sense of community alive during an isolating time.
In the present day, I’ve been looking for a way to balance out my full-time work as a clinical psychologist. So, I created Milk Club Cookies to bring lightheartedness to my weekends and serve as a fun hobby that will allow me to continue the tradition of building connections and community centered around a classic treat. I plan to use the revenue generated from Milk Club Cookies to help animals in need (more to come on this later).
I’m sure you’ve had plenty of delicious chocolate chip cookies, but I can assure you’ve never had one quite like this. Milk Club Cookies are homemade, small batch cookies made fresh for each order. With a special mix of quality ingredients, you’ll be left with a soft and chewy cookie that is buttery, sweet, gooey, and subtly salty.
Here at Milk Club Cookies, I believe that every incredible cookie deserves a delicious glass of ice-cold milk. But, even more, the name Milk Club Cookies is part of a bigger vision of building community around delicious treats and other services. To this end, the money you spend on cookies now will be used to fund future endeavors. I invite you to come along on the journey and see what is to come!
A love for milk is greatly appreciated, but not required.
